A lovely vintage 1970s–1980s Chinese export porcelain ginger jar (offered without a lid). It features a beautifully detailed, hand-painted Famille Rose polychrome enamel design depicting a vibrant pheasant/rooster perched atop a blue scholars' rock, flanked by large pink peony blossoms and delicate floral borders.

The bottom features the classic, authentic bilingual stamped export mark: "中国制造 / MADE IN CHINA" in red ink, identifying its mid-to-late People's Republic of China era production.
