Vintage Handcrafted Coastal Pottery, Signed Mitzi, Blue-Violet Glaze with 3

A beautiful, highly unique studio art pottery bowl featuring a vibrant coastal or nautical theme. The bowl is meticulously hand-formed with a wavy, organic rim and finished in a striking multi-toned blue and violet glaze. The center reveals the natural, warm unglazed clay body.

The standout feature of this piece is the detailed, three-dimensional sculptural work: a realistic crab (missing one eye) handles one side of the interior, while a detailed lobster accents the other. Both marine figures are rendered with textured shells, claws, and legs in a contrasting earthy brown finish.

The bottom of the bowl is unglazed and features a clear, hand-incised artist signature reading "Mitzi" (or "Mitzie"). This is a fantastic statement piece for a beach house, coastal kitchen, or a collector of unique artisan ceramics!
